School Uniform
Appointments with our school uniform supplier, PMG Schoolwear, are available to book now - please click here. The cut-off date for ordering uniform for the start of the autumn term is 12th August. School Lunches Survey
We would be very grateful for your views on our school lunches. Your feedback will help us to ensure that children are making healthy choices at lunchtime and improve the meals we offer over the coming school year.

Open Afternoon
On Tuesday 19th July, all families are invited to join us in school for an open afternoon from 3:30 pm. This is an informal opportunity for the children to show you their classroom and share their learning with you. You may also like to pop in and meet your class teacher for the new school year. We will be locking the school gates at the usual time so please enter the school building via the main reception.
Hot weather ahead!
With a heatwave expected early next week, please make sure your child brings a named sun hat and refillable water bottle to school every day. Sun cream should be applied at home before they arrive. On Monday and Tuesday the children can wear their school PE kit: white t-shirt, black shorts and trainers. There will be no outdoor PE and playtimes will be indoors with suitable, non-energetic activities!
Next week, the following clubs are running:
Monday – ALL Monday clubs
Tuesday – Gardening club; Chess club
Wednesday – Magpie Makes Art club
Thursday – NO clubs
Friday – ALL Friday clubs EXCEPT French and Pottery. Clubs run from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Infant gymnastics will run as usual at 12:00 pm
As is usual on the last day of every term, Tree Tops will run a full session only from 1:30 – 4:30 pm on Friday 22nd July.
We are finalising the clubs that will be available during the autumn term; please look out for an email next week with all the details.
Tree Tops
Booking for Tree Tops from September is now available through ParentPay. Please note that the charge from September 2022 has increased by 50p per session – details of the new charges are published on the website here. If you will be paying with Childcare Vouchers or Tax-free Childcare payments, please arrange for their transfer to us before the summer break so that they can be processed in time for you to use for September.
Don’t forget to complete a Tree Tops Home School Agreement for the new school year, before your child attends their first session. Thank you.

Dragon Boat Challenge - Sunday 17th July
We have 4 teams lined up for this year's Rotary Club Dragon Boat Challenge taking place on Sunday 17th July at Canbury Gardens: Mamas, Papas, Mixed and a Parent/Teacher boat! The teams are fund-raising for Fern Hill PSA and you can donate via our JustGiving page. We hope to see you at the riverside, cheering on the Fern Hill dragons!
