School Lunches
Lunches for the second half of the autumn term are now available to order via ParentPay. The deadline for ordering lunches for the first week back after the half term break (week commencing 2nd November) is midnight on Sunday 18th October. All orders must be placed on ParentPay by this time. The lunch menu is available on ParentPay and our website here.
If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, they are entitled to a free school lunch through the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) scheme. Please remember that you must still book their lunches via ParentPay and select a meal from the menu for each day.
Half Term Activities
Bookings are still open for the exciting activities taking place over the half term break: Pleiades are at school for the two INSET days and Mother Nature Science and Masquerade Theatre Arts are running their own holiday camps. For all the details, click here.

Year group newsletters
On Wednesday 21st October, the PSA are holding a Mufti day fundraiser! In return for a donation of £1, children may come to school wearing fancy dress. Mr Scott has asked that children do not wear Hallowe’en costumes or anything that could possibly scare. No football strips either please! The money you raise will be used to buy classroom resources. The PSA will be collecting your donations outside the school entrance on the day. Children should not bring any money into their classroom so if your child walks to school on their own, please remind them to look out for the PSA. If it’s your PE kit day, don’t worry, your child can still wear fancy dress.
Parent Consultations
We hope you found your parent consultation with your child's class teacher useful. If you did not make an appointment and would like to discuss how your child is settling in to the new academic year, please email the school office who will arrange a telephone call for you with your teacher after the half term break.
Welcome to the last Newsletter of this half term!
We have two INSET days coming up, when school is closed - Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd October. School will end on Wednesday 21st October at the normal time and our half term holiday will run from Thursday 22nd October to Friday 30th October. We hope you have a relaxing break and look forward to seeing the children again on Monday 2nd November at the usual time.
Fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital
We are very proud of Tulsi and Gaya! The girls are taking part in a 10 km bike ride this weekend, to raise funds for the wonderful Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Children's Charity.
Many of GOSH Charity’s major fundraising events have been cancelled this year due to COVID-19 so any support you can give means you’ll be making a huge difference to seriously ill children and their families at the hospital.
If you would like to donate and show your support for GOSH and Team Williams, click here.
Good luck girls! Go Team Williams!
A Seaside Journey
This week, our Year 2 children took part in a very special workshop. The Freshwater Theatre Company joined them in school for an exciting journey through time, linked to their history topic. Visiting seaside holiday destinations from 1910 till today, they explored how holidays and pastimes have changed over the past century. They met Punch and Judy in 1910, learnt what holidays meant during wartime in the 1940s, explored seaside activities in 1950s, and took a trip to the Butlins' summer camps of the 1970s. The children couldn’t believe there was a time when people travelled in cars and coaches that didn’t have seatbelts, satnavs and entertainment systems!

Second hand Sports Equipment/School Uniform Sale
We will be holding our next themed second hand sale on Sunday 8th November and this time the theme is SPORTS. Over half term, please have a sort through your cupboards to see if you have any sports equipment that you no longer use and are able to donate for the sale: bike helmets, hockey sticks, tennis racquets, football boots, shin pads, ballet shoes and dancewear etc. We will be asking you to drop donations off at school after half term. Please look out for a message from us to let you know when you can do this.
