Sports Day Afternoons
Over the next two weeks, each year group will have their own Sports Day Afternoon. Please see the Key Dates section above for the date of your child's event. The children should come to school on their day wearing PE kit with a t-shirt representing their House colour:
Coombe — Blue

Our Parent & Carer Survey will be available for you to complete online until 6:00 pm on Friday 2nd July.

This survey is for you to give us your views about Fern Hill and your child’s experience at school. Your feedback is extremely important and will be a key input to the School Development Plan for next year.
Thank you to all the families who have completed it so far. To encourage feedback, we are offering an incentive! The year group that receives the most survey responses will enjoy their own mufti (non-uniform) day and extra diamond time before the end of term. As of this morning, Year 5 are in the lead but it really is very close and there is still time to show your support and give us your feedback, if you haven’t already done so!
The survey is designed to enable you to complete a questionnaire for each of your children attending Fern Hill so if you have more than one child here, please take the opportunity to do a survey for each. More than one parent can also complete a survey for each child.

Class Photographs
Today you will have received an email via ParentPay with details of how to order your child's class photograph. You can view the images on our school photographer's website.
Please note that each class has their own secure online gallery — you will need the unique link and password given in the email to access it and to make any purchases. If you have not received the email, please do let us know.
When you place your order, please note your child's name and class in the instruction box at the cart stage. The deadline for ordering with free delivery is Monday 5th July.
Academy Consultation
Last week, the consultation period for the proposal for Fern Hill to convert to academy status and join Kingston Educational Trust (KET) began. If you have any questions or comments on the proposal, please complete the Google form linked here before the consultation period ends at midday on Monday 19 July. Alternatively, written comments can also be posted to the school office in a sealed envelope, marked for the attention of Francesca Lee, Clerk to the Governing Body.
Two information sessions are being held, on Monday 12th July from 9:30 – 10:30 am and Tuesday 13th July from 7:00 – 8:00 pm, to discuss the proposed conversion in more detail.
These sessions will take place virtually, using Google Meet, and joining details will be published nearer the time. If you would like to join one of the meetings, please complete the Google form here.
